Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX6090 Plasma 1080p HD Ready Digital Television, 60 Inch |
Pioneer |
You haven’t experienced movies at home until you’ve watched them on the Pioneer PDP-LX6090 plasma television. Watching your favourite films on the massive 60” screen will make your jaw drop, not only due to the size of the images, but their quality. Moving even closer to “absolute” black by further reducing idle luminance, Kuro technology gives you the ability to see literally every shade between black and white, resulting in improved picture brightness and contrast. Offering support for 1080p the PDP-LX6090 ensures you’ll enjoy generous levels of detail, even in the brightest or darkest scenes, brilliantly smooth edges and wide-ranging, natural colours, when connected to a compatible Blu-ray DVD player. A clever Optimum Mode analyses the room lighting conditions and the content you’re watching, adjusting the picture and sound automatically to give you the best viewing experience. Being HD-ready the PDP-LX6090’s integrated digital tuner lets you have access to all free-to-air digital channels. It also has a CI slot, so you can insert your top-up or pre-paid TV subscription card, depending on where you live. The PDP-LX6090 also includes an electronic programme guide, which allows you to view up-and-coming programmes so you won’t miss a thing, as well as Picture in Picture, for multiple viewing. It is also ready to take advantage of the high definition media: it has 3 HDMI inputs and a PC input, so you can connect it to other HDMI-compatible devices. There’s even a USB port for you to plug in your flash drive and run a slideshow of your photos. This television is ‘high definition ready’ which means it has the ability to display high definition signals with the addition of a separate HD receiver. HD broadcasts are at a much higher resolution than regular analogue or digital broadcasts and have greatly enhanced picture quality. The level of detail is astonishing with clearer, sharper and more vibrant images. 1080p 1080p is the purest form of high definition that a television can display. This leads to a smoother, more film-like image, which will satisfy sports and movie lovers alike.
