The interior of the GWL227HXYA boasts LG’s Total No Frost system: this keeps your fridge hygienic and odour free and means no more defrosting, with powerful cold air circulation ensuring the internal temperature remains consistent throughout. Clever digital sensors monitor the fridge and freezer, reacting instantaneously to temperature changes. This, along with faster cooling, helps restore the temperature when you’re had the doors open, or if you’re experiencing fluctuations in the ambient temperature of your kitchen. The large 365L fridge has 3 slide out tempered glass shelves, 4 door baskets and 2 salad drawers including a Moist Balance crisper design: this is a special lattice-type box cover which maintains moisture at an optimum level. Moisture from stored food is evaporated and then condensed on the lattice, maintaining the correct balance of moisture in the box. Within the 173L freezer are 3 door baskets, 5 tempered glass shelves and 2 drawers, along with an ice cube maker. The ice maker is built into the door, leaving space for 2 extra shelves. The exterior of the GWL227HXYA features a streamlined touch LED control panel, plus ice and water dispenser. This fridge freezer requires no plumbing despite having an ice and water dispenser; not only can you install it anywhere with a plug socket, but there are no unsightly hoses and no need to replace a filter. Simply fill the fitted container with fresh water to generate crisp water and ice. The gasket is treated with an anti-microbial agent, preventing mould growth which could distort and stain the seal |
