The Humax PVR 8000T / 80 is both a Freeview box and Personal Video Recorder. It allows you to receive Freeview TV and DAB digital radio, and can also record Freeview programmes onto its internal hard drive, so you won't need video cassettes anymore! The inbuilt hard drive also enables you to pause live TV and to rewind the channel you have been watching. The Humax PVR 8000T / 80 will give you an excellent digital TV picture, and you can navigate through the channels or set your programme recordings using its onscreen menus. Also provided is an onscreen electronic programme guide, so you can easily find out what's on. If you are looking for a high quality and affordable PVR, the Humax PVR 8000T / 80 fits the bill, although unlike some of its more expensive rivals it does not have a second digital tuner. However, if you can live without that, it's an excellent buy.
